Ride the Trail of Tour de Georgia . . .
Follow the path of Tour de Georgia's world-class cyclists and ride the Wheels O'Fire Century Cycle Tour! Set in the rolling foothills of West Georgia's Harris County, home of internationally renowned CALLAWAY GARDENS, the Wheels O'Fire Century Cycle Tour stands second to none for challenge and all-around appeal.

Tune Up for Spring...
Choose from the full century ride for experienced cyclists or the short and intermediate 26, 45, and 68-mile tours. You'll find clearly marked routes, ample Rest Stops stocked with refreshment, and plenty of friendly tail-waggin' "Spotters" to provide first aid and mechanical support – and point the way! And, a portion of the proceeds goes to the benefit of Harris County’s Volunteer Fire Fighters!

Make it a weekend with family and friends…
Saturday night there will be desert and entertainment at Callaway Gardens you’re welcome to join. Then on Sunday you can enjoy a relaxed ride through this magnificent garden resort, or participate in a time trial where it’s you against the clock. You and your family can also enjoy Callaway’s many attractions – from a wild Birds of Prey show to the tropical Day Butterfly Center, Sibley Horticultural Center, Mr. Cason’s Vegetable Garden, nature trails and much more!

Now's the time for a Spring tune-up...
So, come join us in the footprint of Tour de Georgia for a real barnburner! The Wheels O’Fire Century Cycle Tour –it's 100 miles (Plus One!) of pure family fun.

Bring Your Family & Friends . . .
There’s plenty to see and do in Harris County. Enjoy golfing, hiking, biking, boating, camping, historic sightseeing, shopping and dining. Take a break along the way at a few Stay & See Spots the whole family will love!

COMMENTS ABOUT 2008!

We rode in snow, sleet, freezing rain, wind and sunshine! I did not see or experience famine, pestilence or locusts though. See you all next year!

Sitting back in my warm residence, I am reflecting on the amazing ride from
yesterday (Saturday). I actually completed the 101-mile option and am sure I am a much better athlete for it! I have to commend Harris County on the well put-together ride. Everything was as advertised and was exciting. The SAG stops were as predicted and the folks manning them were VERY friendly and helpful. The last 30+ miles of my ride were miserable (due to the weather), but seeing friendly and cheering faces every 10 or so miles made it worth the effort. Please pass on my thanks and a job "well-done."
Secondly, I do recall seeing a gentleman out there taking pictures. Is it possible that someone was Employed to take these for viewing/ selling? Please let me know.

The greatest supported and organized century, as usual.  Keep up the good
work. Will photos be available?
