Best ride in Georgia!

THIS COMMENT WAS SENT TO THE CHAMBER IN A LETTER:
On March 12th I rode in the Wheels O’Fire Cycle Tour. Unfortunately, my ride came to an abrupt end with an accident by the second rest area, when I fell and hurt my shoulder. Eventually, X-rays found a fractured clavicle.
I just wanted to thank all of the personnel involved with helping me after the accident, particularly those from the fire department and the EMS, as well as the three personnel from Hughston Orthopedic.
I take part in 6-10 of these events yearly, and can say without prejudice that yours has got to be the best supported, along with the Six Gap Century in Dahlonega. I believe that I speak for he other participants when I say that.
Again, let me say thank you and I hope to be there again next year.

Appreciate the FF at intersections. Exceptionally well organized. Like volunteers at RS.

Rest stops well placed. Thank you for everything!

Thanks to all the great volunteers and an overall great training ride as I prepare for Ironman Cover D'Alene. Too hilly for whimpy me!

Very helpful having law enforcement directing at traffic lights.

Appreciate traffic control at key intersections

RS unbelievable. Fire Trucks at all turns - great. Usually get lost, but never had to pull map. Liked filtered water at RS. Liked sheriff patrolling routes.

Bill Arnold's the best.

Pulling 6 yr. Old son. Felt safer than on any other rides. Awesome

Make post ride meal - all you can eat!

People are great! Talk to God about the wind next year.

Best organized & supported Century. Great job! No wind next year, please!

Like directions to the start listed on web page. One of best rides all year! Keep up good work!

Overall a very good experience. Excellent! Will be back next year

Favorite part - going down hill. Thank you HFD and RS. It was FUN!!

1st Century Excellent RS, Friendly, tough course, Great Event!

Favorite- the food. Good breakfast!

Love ride! People are wonderful. Never felt it could be better -except for first hill!

Getting better every year! Great challenging ride! "Gentle rolling hills of HC."

Prefer mass start for the camaraderie- felt isolated often.

Favorite-down hills. Very friendly & helpful fire, police and organizers. Challenging, not for those who don't train.

Great ride!! Exceptional volunteers & operation.

On all bike rides, the people are nice. On this ride, they are even nicer.

Favorite - just finishing. Hard ride for bginners. Hills very streneous. Everyone nice, helpfu & event very well organized.

Wheels the Best! Claxton Second Best-easier. Go Marlene! Thanks Bill!
